53-year-old Paul Whittaker, from Burnley and Nelson, visited five care home residences wearing sexy underwear. Covering his face with masks, he hid his identity and gained the attention of staff before masturbating in front of them.
Evidence from Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras shows that Paul Whittaker parked his car near each care home at the time of the offences, and three times he was seen on CCTV heading to and from the care homes.
Paul Whittaker was arrested from his house. There were plenty of women’s underwear in his bedroom. When his phone was examined, they discovered films showing him engaging in the same sexual behaviour while dressed in clothing that matched those detailed by witnesses. He offered the cops a no-comment interview.
Paul Whittaker was sentenced to three years imprisonment today; he also received an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and has to sign the sex offenders’ register for a lifetime.
