A trainee Cleveland police constable, Christopher Mallam, who rubbed his groin against a colleague was sacked at a misconduct hearing. Christopher Mallam was just six weeks into his training with Cleveland Police when three female officers reported his “sexist, sexual and misogynistic comments,” a misconduct hearing was told.

The probationary officer confronted 16 accusations of misconduct towards female pupils. An independent panel convened in Stockton substantiated 14 complaints, including the gravest one, which involved Christopher Mallam pressing his groin against a female pupil during a training exercise.

The ruling mandated Christopher Mallam’s dismissal without notice following a prior determination of egregious misconduct.
