PC Luke Tuppenney, 31, appeared at Isleworth Crown Court on December 13, when he pleaded guilty to the offence committed while off-duty.
PC Luke Tuppenney, an active officer in the West Area, was apprehended in August 2023 during an inquiry conducted by the domestic abuse unit of Thames Valley Police.
The MPS announced his suspension from duty after to his detention and charges of controlling and coercive actions, as well as malicious messages.
Subsequent to his guilty plea for controlling and coercive behaviour, the accusation of malicious communications was recorded as filed.
Luke Tuppenney is scheduled to appear at the same court for sentencing on Monday, March 3, 2025.
Chief Superintendent Jill Horsfall, who leads policing in the West Area command, said: “PC Luke Tuppenney’s actions go against our values within the Met Police, which the vast majority of our officer uphold every day
“Our Directorate of Professional Standards is now progressing a misconduct investigation in relation to PC Luke Tuppenney’s actions.”
