PC Matthew Tregale Alleged Police Paedophile

Alleged Police Paedophile, PC Matthew Tregale, who is already charged with multiple counts of sexual assault against three women, appeared in 2024 at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court to address two further accusations concerning a 15-year-old girl.

Matthew Tregale, residing on Chariot Drive in Kingsteignton, is being charged with four charges of sexual assault by penetration and one count of attempted rape involving a lady from 2005 to 2010. The cop, featured in the 2019 Channel 4 mini-series Call The Cops, faces additional allegations of two counts of false detention and one count of harassment with threats of violence against the same woman.

He is additionally accused of controlling and coercive actions towards a second lady from December 2015 to July 2020, and towards a third woman from April to August 2021 in the Newton Abbot region.

Before a prior session before Exeter Crown Court, his attorney asserted that his client, Matthew Tregale, “vehemently denies” the allegations. Subsequent to that hearing, it was determined that a trial would occur outside the jurisdiction of the Devon and Cornwall Police department, and it has been scheduled to take place at Bristol Crown Court later this year.

Last month, investigators disclosed that Matthew Tregale would be summoned to Plymouth Magistrates’ Court to face two more counts of non-penetrative sexual activity with a 15-year-old female.

The hearing today resulted in the case being referred for trial at Exeter Crown Court on April 14. PC Matthew Tregale is presently suspended from duty and the trial is still going.
