Classified images According to the findings, PC Wooldridge transmitted a document labelled ‘top secret’ to his wife.
The panel determined that the officer had a consistent “failure to adhere to fundamental confidentiality protocols.”
His wrongdoing, particularly about the lewd photos, was deemed extraordinarily foolish but not malevolent, they stated.
PC Wooldridge’s “notable collection of character references” and many accolades “for his valour and commitment to duty” were regarded as mitigating considerations.
He has “voluntarily withdrawn from military service,” however despite the misbehaviour procedures, “his supervisors evidently still have confidence in him,” and he continues to be entrusted with private information, as stated in the report.
Panel members stated: “He will have to endure the humiliation that the case has inflicted upon him, and the panel acknowledged that he recognised and comprehended this.”
