Peter Webb Paedophile rapist sex offender Christs Hospital School Horsham

Peter Webb Horsham Paedophile, 77, was incarcerated in 2015 and 2017 after confessing to analogous acts against students he instructed at Christ’s Hospital School in Horsham.

In the most recent trial, he was found guilty of three counts of indecent assault against a male student who was between 11 and 12 years old in the early 1970s.

On Wednesday, the judge at Hove Crown Court sentenced him to 12 months of incarceration.

Peter Webb had already received sentences, issued in 2015 and 2017, for a series of indecent assaults on five other students at the institution between 1974 and 1984, during which he served as a woodwork teacher and housemaster.

According to Sussex Police, he remained an incarcerated individual during the most recent trial.

The subsequent sentence will commence upon the conclusion of his present prison term.

Peter Webb perpetrated sexual assaults on students at the independent school during the 1970s and 1980s.

Detective Sergeant Rebecca Wilde of Sussex Police stated, “This marks the third occasion on which Peter Webb has confronted justice, as his victims from many years past have progressively mustered the courage to come forward.”

“Peter Webb had methodically exploited this susceptible young boy, as he had with all the others, while occupying a position of authority and trust, for his own sexual gratification.”

“He made the boy feel unique, effectively cultivating a clandestine relationship with him over several months.”

The victim continues to recall, alongside the traumatic events, the characteristic scent of stale alcohol and tobacco linked to Webb,” the officer remarked.

Christ’s Hospital School was established by Edward VI in 1552. The annual cost of attendance is approximately £35,800.

A spokesman for Sussex Police stated that the police had “full cooperation” from the school during its inquiry.

“The events in this case occurred more than 45 years ago and have no relation to the current or recent management of the school and its pupils,” the police spokesman added without any evidence or proof this is the case.
