Following drink and cocaine, a County Durham man, Phillip Harrison Browney Rapist, who participated in Wimbledon tennis tournaments was found guilty of molesting and attempting to rape a woman.
Though Phillip Harrison, 32, of Littlewood Close, Browney, near Durham, entered not guilty, he was unanimously found guilty of attempted rape and a count of assault by penetration.
Until their sentence on October 22, he was detained in custody at Kingston-upon-Thames Crown Court.
Phillip Harrison woke me up in my bedroom. Via a police video-recorded interview, the woman told the jury: “He was in bed with me naked.”
“What the f*** are you doing in my bedroom?” I asked. And the second thing he was next to me.
“He just dismissed it a little bit. He stripped and slid into bed next to me.
The woman kept trying to place his hand between her legs. She said he was caressing her back, neck and ears and was touching her breast.

She stated: “I told him to leave, and he said I was moody.” I slid over onto my stomach, and he sat beside me. The mattress was shielding most of my body from damage.
Apart from him being a Geordie, she told the trial she knew very little about Phillip Harrison and had no actual contact with him before that evening.
Along with another man, prosecutor Charlotte Newell informed the court Phillip Harrison had been texting his feelings to the complainant throughout the evening and had twice tried to kiss her in her room.
“He twice tried to kiss her, and she rebuffed his advances but continued making sexual overtures to her by text,” Ms Newell told the court.
She stated Phillip Harrison texted her, saying, “I’m coming for a cuddle,” and also sought to “tempt her with more cocaine.” LMO.
“The Crown say Mr Phillip Harrison relentlessly pursued her for a sexual encounter,” said Ms Newell.
“He would not accept no as an answer and convinced reception workers to let him inside her corridor and room.
“She was naked in bed when he entered her bedroom. Lying behind her, he undressed and settled into bed.
He further said: “She rolled onto her front to stop him touching her, and he climbed on top, pinning her down.”
Phillip Harrison left the room eventually, but he kept texting the woman.
“He told her his life would be over, and he would lose everything if she reported him,” Ms. Newell claimed.
Saying he could not live with his deeds on his conscience, she said: “He confessed to a colleague he had gone too far and expressed suicidal thoughts.”
She stated he had begged the complainant not to report him, but she did, and three weeks later, Phillip Harrison was arrested at a London hotel and subjected to an interview.
