A 16-year-old girl sought directions from a group of males, the Ramsgate Grooming Gang, in Ramsgate, Kent, after becoming confused and separated from her friends during a night out.
Regrettably, the girl was thereafter assaulted by three men and an adolescent male from the Ramsgate Grooming Gang. She was subsequently seen weeping by two individuals returning from an evening outing.
Rafiullah Hamidy, Shershah Muslimyar, Tamin Rahmani, and the 17-year-old all refuted allegations of rape but were convicted and jailed at Canterbury Crown Court on September 8, 2017.
The men from the Ramsgate Grooming Gang received sentences of 14 years apiece.
