Back behind bars following a guilty plea to sexual assault and exposure in Northumberland is a repeat sex offender, Rhyss Laws Newbiggin-by-the-Sea Paedophile.

Rhyss Laws was previously imprisoned on counts of sexual assault and violence following a street attack on a lady in Ashington in October 2017.

Back before Newcastle Crown Court this week for his most recent offence, the now 25-year-old

Rhyss Laws was at an address in the Ashington area on the evening of November 19, last year, trying to persuade a teenage girl to have sex before employing force and exposing himself.

Before telling Northumbria Police about the upsetting incident the following day, the victim escaped from Rhyss Laws.

Rhyss Laws, of Storey Crescent, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, admitted offences committed in the Teesside region including hazardous driving, driving while banned, drink driving, driving without insurance and criminal damage as well as confessing to the latest counts of sexual assault and exposure.

Rhyss Laws will also remain on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life and was imprisoned for 45 months.
