A convicted Middlesbrough Paedophile sex offender, Ronald Barnbrook, has been charged with violating a court order by taking photographs of a youngster at a swimming pool in Tenerife.
Ronald Barnbrook is presently under a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) and is obligated to comply with notification requirements associated with the sex offenders’ register. The 73-year-old is suspected of violating these regulations by not informing the police prior to reportedly flying from Newcastle Airport to Tenerife in November 2024.
Ronald Barnbrook, residing on Park Road South in Middlesbrough, was subjected to the Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) in 2017. He appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 8, accused with the offences.
Court documents detailing the allegations state: “Between November 19, 2024, and December 3, 2024, in Tenerife (Spain), without justifiable cause, photographs of female minors under the age of 18 were taken, an act prohibited by a sexual harm prevention order.”
Anne Mitchell, for the prosecution, informed the court that one image pertains to a youngster in a swimming pool in Tenerife. Ronald Barnbrook received conditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Teesside Crown Court on June 5.

Ronald Barnbrook, of Park Road South in central Middlesbrough, was jailed for 22 months. He will be released on licence after serving 40% of his sentence.
