The violent criminal, Ryan Bruce, the Stoke Newington Rapist, imprisoned for 13 years, struck his victim over the head with a hammer and sexually assaulted her.
Previously pleading guilty to two counts of rape, Ryan Bruce of Howard Road, Stoke Newington, was sentenced to 13 years, with four years extended licence, at Wood Green Crown Court on October 21.
Ryan Bruce, 26, made plans for the victim, who he discovered online, to visit him on March 13 evening at his grandmother’s house in Bethnal Green.
Ryan Bruce was utilising the house without the knowledge or permission of his grandma; it was empty.
The victim, in her thirties, showed up at about eleven p.m. Bruce sent her to an upstairs bedroom after inviting her in.
The woman went to remove her shoes and bent down; Ryan Bruce hammered her several times over the head, creating a cut that later needed stitches.
Offering her money, the woman said she felt she was being robbed.
Ryan Bruce’s cousin let herself into the house to pick up their grandmother’s post, therefore stopping the assault. When she heard the victim sobbing, Bruce yelled at her to leave the house.
She followed through and called her parents; minutes later, they showed up. Ryan Bruce was there on the landing, brandishing the hammer. They got the hammer after a brawl and contacted the cops.
