Young rapist Sam Brown
An adolescent Edinburgh Paedophile perpetrator, Sam Brown, who sexually assaulted four female individuals within a span of nine months has been sentenced to a ten-year extended term.
Paedophile Sam Brown was convicted on seven crimes on July 30 after a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh.
The perpetrator, aged 20, encountered his initial target over social media before subjecting her to a brutal and sexually abusive attack on March 10, 2022, during their inaugural face-to-face encounter.
Edinburgh rapes
On the subsequent day, he perpetrated a violent assault and sexual assault against the 16-year-old at a location in Edinburgh.
Sam Brown encountered his second victim over social media prior to engaging in a brief romantic involvement with her in June 2022.
Glasgow rapes
The perpetrator engaged in non-consensual sexual intercourse with the 16-year-old individual at a location in Glasgow, and subsequently subjected her to sexual assault in a nearby wooded area.
During consenting intercourse with Brown, the same victim was subjected to multiple strikes on the head.
In the same month, specifically on June 28th, Sam Brown committed sexual assault against his third victim, a 14-year-old girl, after meeting her in the city centre of Edinburgh.
Snapchat
On December 17, Sam Brown engaged in sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl in an open area in the capital city, following their initial interaction on the social media platform Snapchat.
On September 2, 2024, before the High Court in Edinburgh, he received a sentence of seven years in prison, which was later extended by an additional three years.
Permanent non-harassment orders were granted, prohibiting Sam Brown from contacting or attempting to contact any of the four victims.
Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal
Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal for High Court Sexual Offending, Katrina Parkes said: “Sam Brown is a dangerous individual who poses a danger to girls and young women.
“Despite his depraved actions inflicting unimaginable trauma, the victims showed incredibly bravery giving evidence which has ensured he has now been convicted and held accountable.
“We would urge any victim of similar crime not to suffer in silence but to report it.
“You will be listened to and supported as we seek to secure justice using all the tools available to us.”
