Scott Salisbury, the Tile Hill Paedophile, attempted to evade capture following an inquiry into allegations of raping a minor in Coventry.

Scott Salisbury sexually assaulted the girl, a teenager during the charges, multiple times during a four-year span.

The incident was communicated to us following her courageous disclosure to the police.

The 39-year-old individual from Coventry became cognisant of being reported and endeavoured to elude apprehension.

After a 10-day search, authorities apprehended Scott Salisbury with assistance from the Dogs and Drones units in December 2024.

Scott Salisbury was interrogated by police from our Rape and Serious Sexual Assault (RASSO) squad, offering no response to the enquiries presented to him.

Our inquiry focusses on assisting the woman in securing appropriate support to empower her for the judicial proceedings against Salisbury.

As an adult, she bravely took the witness stand in court to provide a personal statement.

Scott Salisbury admitted admission to charges of rape and inducing a minor to participate in sexual behaviour.

Scott Salisbury, hailing from the Tile Hill region of Coventry, was sentenced in absentia to 22 years and six months of incarceration at Warwick Crown Court on 3 July.

He was issued a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a permanent restraining order against the woman.

The judge expressed gratitude to her in court, stating that Scott Salisbury’s absence at sentencing constituted a failure to perform the one commendable action available to him.
