A sex offender, Sean Denniston Walcott Paedophile, questioned by paedophile hunters has acknowledged trying to interact with a teenage girl online. Sean Denniston, 34, thought he was speaking with a 14-year-old, but it was a decoy account. Later, members of an internet group confronted him at his house.

Pleading guilty to sexual communication with a child between June 13 and July 16, he appeared before Norwich Crown Court via video link from jail.

From Walcott, Sean Denniston also admitted breaking a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) put in place following his 2018 conviction of past offences.

The court heard he broke order criteria by purposefully deleting files from his web browsing history.

On a third charge of an attempted SHPO breach involving unsupervised contact with a kid, which he had denied, prosecutors stated no evidence would be given.

Judge Anthony Bate declared he had “a recent history of similar offending”.

Ahead of his September 20 sentence, he requested a pre-sentence report.

Sean Denniston was advised he would remain on remand in jail.
