Serban Scinteianu rapist sex offender Brixton

Serban Scinteianu, the Brixton Rapist, was imprisoned for raping an 18-year-old woman. At Inner London Crown Court on Thursday, October 3, 2019, Serban Scinteianu, 31, a Romanian national without a fixed residence, was sentenced to ten years in jail.

At the same court in July, Serban Scinteianu entered a guilty plea to three counts of rape.

The victim was going along Somerleyton Road after leaving a pub at about 4.30 a.m. on June 2.

Serban Scinteianu trailed after her into a residential complex.

The victim felt uneasy and started walking towards the stairs while he stood close by, staring at her.

Then Serban Scinteianu attacked her, and she underwent three instances of rape. Scinteianu disregarded her numerous calls to stop; she only managed to flee once she persuaded him to let her go to grab a drink.

She left, then Serban Scinteianu, and headed towards a crowded location where she confronted a public member to explain what had transpired.

The public member guided her to the local Brixton Police Station and reassured the victim he would stop Serban Scinteianu should he try to follow.

Seeing this, Serban Scinteianu spun around and started walking back to the site while the victim reported the incident.

Following reports of disruptive activity, police found Serban Scinteianu’s description to match that of a guy told to leave the location where the victim was attacked.

When police arrived back at the scene, Serban Scinteianu was asleep on a mattress near the rear of the residential structure.
