A Southampton Paedophile, Shane Johnson, has confessed to owning severe pornographic materials, including indecent photographs of minors.
Shane Johnson, aged 23, appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on June 3 to face five charges.
He is charged with producing five category A indecent photographs of a child, the most severe classification, and 17 category B images of a child.
Two of them were moving photos, while 15 were still images.
Shane Johnson was additionally charged with possessing three severe pornographic photographs and three banned images of a youngster.
Shane Johnson was additionally charged with the creation of 89 category C obscene pictures of minors.
The offences occurred on August 26, 2023, in Southampton.
Shane Johnson, residing on Pennine Road in Southampton, admitted admission to all five allegations.
Shane Johnson is scheduled to appear before Southampton Crown Court on June 30.
The Sentencing Council states that the maximum penalty for possession of category A images is three years of imprisonment, whilst the maximum for category B photographs is 18 months of imprisonment.
The maximum term for possession of category C images is 26 weeks of imprisonment.
