A vile Brighton Paedophile, Simon Berry, who perpetrated a campaign of sexual assault on a child has had his prison term augmented following a referral to the Court of Appeal by the solicitor general.
Simon Berry, aged 34, perpetrated sexual assault and rape against a child for a duration of seven years.
The victim’s age ranged from seven to fifteen during the period of abuse.
Simon Berry manipulated a child in his local community who was under the age of ten.
After earning the boy’s trust, Simon Berry, a resident of Whitehawk Road in Brighton and in his early twenties at the time, methodically assaulted him for nearly a decade.
On March 24, 2022, Simon Berry was sentenced to 13 years of jail at Southwark Crown Court, accompanied by an extended licence period of two years, for charges involving the rape of a child under 13, sexual assault of a child under 13, and sexual conduct with a minor.
