Simon Harrington paedophile child sex offender – Brandon

Brandon Paedophile Simon Harrington, a 56-year-old agricultural labourer from West Suffolk, has been mandated to register as a sex offender and has been remanded in custody following his conviction for multiple sexual offences.

Simon Harrington of North Court, Brandon, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Monday.

Simon Harrington denied four counts of rape concerning one alleged victim, two counts of sexual assault of a child about a second alleged victim, two counts of indecent assault, three counts of child penetration assault, and two counts of sexual activity with a child regarding a third alleged victim.

Simon Harrington was unanimously found guilty of one offence of rape, one offence of assault of a child by penetration, one offence of sexual activity with a child and two offences of sexually assaulting a child.

Simon Harrington was also convicted of an offence of rape and an offence of indecent assault by majority verdicts of 11-1.

Simon Harrington was found not guilty of the remaining six charges.

Judge David Wilson adjourned sentence until September 27 and remanded Simon Harrington in custody.

He also ordered Simon Harrington to sign the sex offenders register interim.

Giving evidence during the trial, Simon Harrington denied the allegations, which date back to the 1990s.
