A conceited and unrepentant Lancashire Paedophile, Simon Richards, has received a sentence of 17 years in prison, along with an additional four years on extended license, for a series of egregious sexual offences committed against two young children between September 2016 and April 2019, and again between April and June 2023.
Simon Richards, 50 (DOB: 15/05/1975), from Lancashire, admitted guilt to 11 charges, encompassing several counts of child rape, attempted child rape, and the creation and distribution of indecent photos of a child.
Natalie Rabie, 46 (DOB: 15/09/1978), partner of Richards and resident of Lancashire, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to persuade a minor under 16 to engage in sexual behaviour and received a 20-month prison sentence.
The couple, Simon Richards and Natalie Rabie, once living in Surrey, attended Guildford Crown Court on 3 June 2025.
Simon Richards and Natalie Rabie were initially apprehended in June 2023 following the discovery of sexual conversations between Richards and one of the victim’s mother, which included the exchange of indecent pictures.
During police interrogations, Simon Richards consistently responded with ‘no comment’ but later entered a guilty plea in subsequent court proceedings.
A comprehensive inquiry conducted by the Child Abuse Team revealed the magnitude of Simon Richards’ offences in Surrey.
He was sentenced to a total of nine years in jail for the crimes of rape and attempted rape on a single victim. For charges against the second victim, including rape and sexual assault, as well as the distribution of indecent photos, he was sentenced to an additional eight years.
His sentences will be served in succession.
At the sentencing hearing, the judge deemed Simon Richards as ‘dangerous’ and he will be added to the Registered Sex Offenders list for life.
Both Simon Richards and Natalie Rabie will be handed Sexual Harm Prevention Orders and indefinite Restraining Orders, preventing them from any contact with the victims for the rest of their lives.
