Admitting 20 sex crimes, some involving children, Simon Tesseyman Barrow Paedophile has been imprisoned. Simon Tesseyman, 32, of Barrow, admitted guilt to all charges he faced and was sentenced today at Preston Crown Court. The crimes occurred from 2019 through this year.
In this instance, the total accusations are several counts of sexual behaviour with a kid, several charges of creating obscene images, several counts of disseminating obscene pictures of children and voyeurism.
Simon Tesseyman got a 13-year sentence; he will spend eight years in custody and the remaining five on extended licence.
Simon Tesseyman also has to sign the register for lifetime for sex offenders.
Until the court decides differently, he also has a restraining order and notice requirements.
The investigating officer in the case, Detective Constable Sarah Aiston, said: “These are horrible crimes. I can only imagine the effects this incident had on the victims’ lives and what it was like.
“I want to commend the victims for their bravery over the inquiry.
“Cumbria Constabulary is dedicated to carefully and humanely looking at every incidence of a severe sexual offence.
“I would advise anyone who has been the victim of a sexual offence to get in touch with police so that our officers may look into it. Your report will be handled professionally and sensibly.
