Skylar Reynolds, the Vigo County Pedophile, was sentenced to 40 years in jail on Friday after a jury found him guilty on May 7.
Skylar Reynolds was convicted of one count of child molestation, a level one felony, for engaging in sexual conduct with a six-year-old girl in 2023. During the sentencing on Friday, Judge Sarah Mullican of Vigo County Superior Court Division 3 granted the State’s request for a 40-year term for Skylar Reynolds.
Prosecutor Terry Modesitt commended the bravery exhibited by the victim and witness, both under ten years old at the time of the incident, for reporting the crime carried out by Skylar Reynolds, participating in numerous interviews, and ultimately testifying at trial.
