Stanley David Burden, 54, a Pedophile of Aliquippa, has received a sentence of 20 to 40 years in prison for the repeated sexual abuse of a minor, subsequent to his guilty plea to many felony offences. The punishment occurred on Tuesday, May 27, in Beaver County Court, when Burden was also classified as a “sexually violent predator.”

Stanley David Burden admitted guilt to counts encompassing child rape, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent abuse of a minor, and associated offences. Upon completion of his prison sentence, he will undergo five years of probation and is required to register as a lifetime sex offender.

“Safeguarding children is a fundamental objective of the Office of the Attorney General, executed commendably by our investigative team,” stated Attorney General Dave Sunday. “Due to the bravery of the courageous survivor, this perpetrator will be unable to inflict harm on another child and will endure decades of incarceration for his reprehensible actions.”

The investigation commenced on a Cyber Tip from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children in Lawrence County, which suggested that Stanley David Burden possessed child sexual abuse material. This information prompted an inquiry that revealed Stanley David Burden’s offences, including the recurrent sexual abuse of a kid at a campground in Beaver County. The victim revealed that Stanley David Burden instructed them not to report the abuse.

Additional charges were filed against Stanley David Burden in Lawrence County, where he admitted guilt to other offences, including the production and possession of child sexual abuse material and the criminal use of a communication service. His punishment in those matters remains unresolved.

The Beaver County case was prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Alison Bragle from the Child Predator Section of the Office of Attorney General.
