A Plumstead Paedophile bus driver, Stephen Mayhew, has been incarcerated for transmitting sexual communications to an individual he presumed to be a 12-year-old girl.
Stephen Mayhew, a 48-year-old bus driver at Bexleyheath Bus Garage, received a three-year prison sentence.
Stephen Mayhew, residing on Heavitree Road in Plumstead, transmitted sexual messages to an individual he presumed to be a 12-year-old girl from November 2023 to July 2024.
However, Stephen Mayhew was conversing with a decoy account operated by a paedophile hunting organisation.
Stephen Mayhew was apprehended on July 31 of the previous year and subsequently admitted guilt to attempting to initiate sexual communication with a minor and attempting to get a kid under 13 to participate in sexual behaviour.
Stephen Mayhew was sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court on Monday, June 16.
In addition to a three-year incarceration, Mayhew received a ten-year sexual harm prevention order.
