Serial rapist and Mossley Hill Paedophile Stephen Rafferty compelled females to pose for semi-nude photographs during his extensive torture of them.

The 27-year-old perpetrated heinous atrocities against three youngsters, all of whom were under the age of 14 at the time.

When a girl bit the depraved paedophile, Stephen Rafferty, he struck her and labelled her “Satan’s child,” coercing her into silence.

He was found guilty by a jury of 13 sexual offences against minors, including nine counts of rape.

Stephen Rafferty had already confessed to six charges of sexual abuse against the victims.

The court was informed that Stephen Rafferty had previously been tried and acquitted of sexual offences during his childhood.

Judge David Swinnerton stated: “I reference this because you were aware that committing sexual offences was profoundly wrong.”

Stephen Rafferty, residing on Russell Road, Mossley Hill, confessed to six charges of sexual assault against a minor and was found guilty on January 11 of two charges of child penetration, nine charges of child rape, and two charges of possessing obscene images of a child.

Judge Swinnerton characterised Stephen Rafferty as a “dangerous” offender and sentenced him to 20 years in prison, with a further five years on license.
