A Dalkeith paedophile dentist, Steven MacMillan, who inundated a 13-year-old girl with sexual messages is currently indulging in golfing vacations in Spain while awaiting sentencing, we can disclose, thanks to the Great British Justice System and the ineffective UK Police.

Steven MacMillan, 53, was located by paedophile hunters following his engagement in sexual talks with the minor on social media.

The perpetrator confessed to his abhorrent offences, which involved coercing the minor to engage in a sexual act, despite her prior disclosure of her age.

Steven MacMillan appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court earlier this month, where he admitted to engaging in inappropriate communication with the youngster between February and March 2023.

However, no travel limitations were imposed on him, allowing the convicted paedophile dentist to audaciously go to the lovely Costa Blanca, where he has been golfing, relaxing, and socialising, despite being listed on the sex offenders register.

He has reportedly been prohibited from accessing the common pool at the relaxed expatriate community where his parents reside.

Last week, Steven MacMillan of Dalkeith, Midlothian, was observed playing golf with his paedophile mates at the prestigious Campoamor Resort in Orihuela Costa, where he was registered as a tournament participant.

He was observed lingering shirtless on his balcony before engaging in conversation and smiling with his companions on the sunlit fairways.

The individual has been acquiring proficiency in Spanish and intends to relocate to the country in the future.

Steven MacMillan may risk imprisonment upon his return to Scotland for sentence.

The court previously heard that Steven MacMillan and the girl from Newcastle conversed before she transmitted an image of herself engaging in a sexual act.

He subsequently commenced transmitting a series of repugnant audio messages to her.

In one message, Steven MacMillan told her: “When daddy asks you to do something you better do it or there will be trouble.”

The disturbing messages were discovered by the child’s horrified mother.

Members of a group then confronted him at his former home in Strathaven, Lanarkshire, and cops were alerted.

After pleading guilty he was put on the sex offenders register and bailed.
