A former Sex Offender sergeant Tim Littman who shared inappropriate messages about women over several months has committed gross misconduct, a police hearing found. Former sergeant Tim Littman sent messages in a group chat that “could be deemed prejudicial towards gender and race”, the Barred List says.
Among a catalogue of inappropriate comments the former police officer, Tim Littman, said one woman had “let herself go” and claimed Essex Police’s internal standards department had a “secret vault with my file in”. There were also references to sexualised comments and innuendos about women in the workplace and that one woman “needs to get back into her box”.
