Timothy O’Keefe Southampton Paedophile has been incarcerated for possessing illicit photos of minors, partially due to the efforts of one of our ‘Digi Dogs.’
Timothy O’Keefe, 58, of May Close, Southampton, appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Friday, January 17, after admitting to possessing over 700 indecent photos of minors.
The incidents occurred between June 2022 and June 2024, during which O’Keefe resided in Portsmouth and Andover.
In July 2022, an inquiry conducted by the Internet Child Abuse Team led to a search of Timothy O’Keefe’s residence on Arundel Street, Portsmouth.
His laptop was discovered after being discarded in a neighbour’s garden, prompting investigators to utilise PD Dizzie, a Digital Data Detection Dog.
These canines are trained to detect electronic devices and objects such as phones and SIM cards. On this occasion, PD Dizzie identified a USB stick belonging to O’Keefe, which included numerous indecent photographs of youngsters.
Timothy O’Keefe received a two-year prison sentence for the charges.
