A former Burton-upon-Trent Paedophile karate instructor, Tony Castle, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after confessing to the sexual abuse and rape of two child students in Telford during the 1990s.

Tony Castle, 65, previously admitted guilt to 12 crimes involving the boys, comprising 10 counts of indecent assault.

Tony Castle was located on Horninglow Street in Burton-upon-Trent, received sentencing at Shrewsbury Crown Court on 12 April.

The police commended the courage of the victims for reporting the prior abuse.

The West Mercia force stated that the court was informed this was not , 65, previously admitted guilt to 12 crimes involving the boys, comprising 10 counts of indecent assault.

In 2011, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison at Stoke on Trent Crown Court for the sexual abuse of children.

The Telford abuse was revealed subsequent to the prior instance for which he was incarcerated, according to police.

Detective Constable Zoe Defoe stated, “This case posed significant challenges for the victims; nonetheless, they exhibited remarkable courage in coming forward to share their experiences.”

“I urge all individuals who have experienced sexual abuse to come forward and communicate with us, irrespective of when the abuse occurred.”
