A man reportedly approached a teenage girl paddling in the sea at Viking Bay, close to The Parade, touching her leg. Kent Police are seeking witnesses linked to this sexual assault in Broadstairs.
The girl moved away, and the event was later reported to the lifeguards. The claimed incident was stated to have happened on Saturday, August 10, at almost 2.30 pm.
Attending and arresting a 33-year-old London male, officers Since then, he has been let on bail with conditions pending more investigation. Officers are asking for witnesses or anybody else who observed anything unusual as part of their inquiry.
