Child predator investigators conducted a “sting” operation at Watford Junction, resulting in the apprehension of an individual by Hertfordshire Police.
Video disseminated online seemingly depicts two individuals from the Innocent Voices UK organisation approaching a man whom they alleged had arrived to see a child.
In the video, he can be heard saying “please, I will not do anything, just give me one chance” and “don’t send me back to Pakistan”, while a photo also shows a police officer at the scene.
The group confirmed the video was taken outside Watford Junction station as part of a “sting” it carried out on June 16.
Police said they arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of three counts of sexual grooming. (Image: Innocent Voices UK) A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police has now confirmed: “Officers arrested a man in Station Road, Watford, at around 4pm on Sunday June 16.
“The man, aged 25 and from London, was arrested on suspicion of three counts of sexual grooming.”
