Wilfred Marodza rapist sex offender Kingston Road Eastbourne

Imprisoned is a “dangerous” Eastbourne Sex Offender Wilfred Marodza who kidnaps and then viciously rapes a lady four times before attacking another viciously.

Before sexually attacking a young woman going home in Southwark several times in July last year, Wilfred Wilfred Marodza marched her to a woodland area.

Wilfred Marodza struck once an hour later, trying to rape another lady waiting for a bus on Borough High Street after the woman fled.

Thursday, January 16, at Inner London Crown Court, Wilfred Marodza, 28, of Kingston Road, Eastbourne, was imprisoned for fourteen years.

Wilfred Marodza first attacked, the court heard, when a 21-year-old lady, heading home on Great Dover Street at roughly 2.30 am on Saturday, July 20, was approached from behind and marched to a small woodland area off Brockham Street.

She was subsequently repeatedly intimidated and sexually assaulted.

The victim escaped and, terrified for her life, dashed to the adjacent street. Stopped by a passing car, Wilfred Marodza stated under challenge that he and the victim were having a domestic dispute.

Desperate to reach safety, the victim entered the car and was driven to a nearby police station. She was so confused and traumatised, nevertheless, that she then ran into a nearby fast-food restaurant, and personnel contacted the police.

A 25-year-old woman was waiting at a bus stop on Borough High Street about one hour later when Wilfred Marodza approached her and started talking to her before volunteering as an escort to a nearby taxi office.

Wilfred Marodza seized the woman as they strolled along and dragged her into a side street, where she was threatened and shoved to the ground. He ran from the scene when she managed to scream.

Metropolitan Police detectives started an inquiry, which resulted in Wilfred Marodza—in London on a work trip—being found and detained at his family’s Eastbourne home address that same day.

On July 24, he was accused of several rape and kidnap charges.

I linked him to the crimes, mobile phone, and CCTV footage, and he responded, “No comment” throughout the interview.

Wilfred Marodza entered a guilty plea to four charges of rape regarding the first victim and one count of kidnapping. He acknowledged one count of kidnapping and one count of intending to commit a sexual crime against the second victim, therefore violating an offence.

Regarding the first victim, he additionally entered not guilty to one count of kidnapping; this last count was left to show on file.

Wilfred Marodza will stay on the sex offenders register for life after being imprisoned for fourteen years on Thursday, January 16.
