A West Cumbria Paedophile William Beech is required to register as a sex offender immediately after confessing to many offences against an individual he believed to be under 13 years old.
William Beech, 51, confronted 13 accusations during his appearance before a judge at Carlisle Crown Court.
During a brief hearing, William Beech admitted guilt to 12 of the charges.
He acknowledged three charges related to attempts to provoke a kid into participating in sexual behaviour. Four incidents pertain to efforts to engage in sexual conduct in the presence of a kid; three involve attempts to compel a child to observe a sexual act; one relates to an attempt to communicate sexually with a child; and he also confessed to producing indecent category C images of a child.
The offences committed by William Beech occurred on many distinct days around the beginning of November of the previous year.
The allegations pertain to interactions with a vigilante organisation posing as a 13-year-old girl, which the defendant believed to be genuine.
Judge Nicholas Barker postponed the case and mandated the draughting of a probation service pre-sentence report to provide context on the offender and his offences.
William Beech is scheduled for sentencing at the crown court on February 4 and is required to register as a sex offender in the interim.
The exact period of such obligations will be established on that occasion, stated the judge.
William Beech was given bail on the condition that he resides at Hilton Terrace in Whitehaven and refrains from any unsupervised interaction with individuals under the age of 18.
