Pinner Paedophile William Brown, a child rapist who victimised boys aged 7 and 11 has been sentenced to 12 years in prison. William Brown, 48, of Beatrice Close, Pinner, was found guilty of sexual offences against two minors in Hampshire.
An inquiry commenced on allegations that Brown had groomed an 11-year-old kid in Portsmouth in September 2023 and sexually assaulted a seven-year-old boy in Port Solent in 2020.
William Brown subsequently entered a guilty plea to the rape of a boy under the age of 13, two charges of forcing or persuading a kid under 13 to engage in sexual behaviour, two counts of sexually assaulting a boy under 13, and grooming.
On Friday, February 14, he received a 12-year term at Portsmouth Crown Court and was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Detective Sergeant Jo Smith of Hampshire Police stated, “We wish to acknowledge the courage of these young victims for coming forward against William Brown, and we express our gratitude for their trust in the police.”
It is due to their bravery in approaching their family and us that we have witnessed William Brown incarcerated.
I commend Detective Constable Nick Park for his hard investigation, which resulted in the defendant pleading guilty before to trial.
I would also like to acknowledge the contributions of the rest of my team who assisted in this investigation, collectively ensuring that a dangerous offender will receive a substantial jail sentence.
The Child Abuse Investigation Team will persist in its diligent efforts alongside partner agencies to protect children and ensure that perpetrators such as William Brown receive appropriate justice.
