Yeovil Grooming Gang - Somerset Paedophiles

In 2010, from the Yeovil Grooming Gang, Somerset, two paedophiles groomed six young girls, aged 14 and 15.

Ahmet Kurtyemez and Mehmet Citak were convicted to 20 years and 12 years, respectively, on November 2, 2016, at Bristol Crown Court.

The lead detective stated that the two men ‘systematically used these young children over several years, gradually undermining their confidence and convincing them that these offences were permissible.’

Consequently, Mehmet Citak was found guilty of two charges of rape and seven charges of sexual assault.

Ahmet Kurtyemez was convicted on six charges of sexual assault.

The police did not arrest any other paedophiles from the Yeovil Grooming Gang.
