Chief Superintendent Chris Truscott from South Wales Police has been suspended. He is alleged to have sexually assaulted a third-party along with another member of the same police force.

Chris Truscott’s mobile device has been seized as part of the investigation.

The reports of sexual assault have been forwarded to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, who have ordered South Wales Police to investigate themselves because the IOPC’s primary role is to investigate serious allegations of police misconduct or crime, particularly those that cause significant public concern, such as deaths in custody not sexual assaults.
