After pleading guilty to multiple sexual acts against a small child, a 58-year-old man, Anthony Jarrett Larkfield Paedophile, has been imprisoned for almost 11 years.

Appearing at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday, 17 May, Anthony Jarrett of Maple Close, Larkfield, in Kent, was sentenced to four crimes involving multiple sexual assaults of a child under thirteen.

Relating to a single victim, the abuse occurred over three years in a town in south Lincolnshire.

Overly pleasant and gentle, Anthony Jarrett advised his victim not to inform anybody; he also insisted that revealing what was going on would have a terrible impact on his life.

Thanks to investigators’ efforts and the victim’s bravery, Anthony Jarrett finally went before court officials in a pre-trial preparation hearing on April 24, when he admitted guilt to all counts.

From the victim and their family, the impact statement presented in court clearly described the terrible effects Anthony Jarrett had on their life.

Anthony Jarrett was put on the sex offender registry, subject to a sexual harm prevention order, and issued a restraining order against the victim.
