Andrew Leadbitter, a Newhaven Paedophile, is out of prison and looking to meet underage children near you. Police have reported that a Newhaven man involved in sexualised online contact with young girls was condemned to jail a few years ago.

September 8 saw Andrew Leadbitter, a 55-year-old service engineer from Hillcrest Road in Newhaven, condemned to two years and three months in Lewes Crown Court.

He acknowledged two offences of attempted sexual communication with two different girls and tried to include a third female in sexual activities. Police reported he was also guilty of three counts of creating obscene photos of children and one crime of possessing severe pornographic images.

Along with getting a Sexual Harm Prevention Order to limit his access to minors and digital devices until further court order, a Sussex Police spokesman said that Mr Andrew Leadbitter will also be a registered sex offender for ten years.

Mr Andrew Leadbitter “systematically sought out opportunities for sexual conversation with young girls and went so far as to arrange a meeting with one of them only to back out at the last moment,” said Detective Constable Gary Baker of the Sussex police paedophile online investigation squad.

“We discovered this behaviour, and he has been brought to justice. We will keep tracking such offenders to protect kids.
