Dan Pirvu sex offender - Barking

An individual, Dan Pirvu Barking sex offender, has been incarcerated for a period of nine months after the act of publicly displaying his reproductive organs on the London Underground.

Dan Pirvu, a 26-year-old resident of Ripple Road, Barking, was convicted by a jury of one charge of exposure and subsequently sentenced on 14 August at Inner London Crown Court.

In addition, he will be required to register as a sex offender for a period of 10 years and has been issued a 5-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, which has specific stipulations.

During the court proceedings, it was revealed that on Friday, November 17, 2023, at approximately 9:05pm, a member of the public informed a TfL staff member about a guy, later identified as Pirvu, who was displaying his genitals on the District Line platform at West Ham subterranean station.

The rail crew member alerted the CCTV control room, who promptly observed Dan Pirvu on the platform with his trousers revealing both his buttocks and genitals. Pirvu was followed by a TfL staff member with his pants lowered to his knees, exposing his genitals, and causing members of the public to distance themselves.

Dan Pirvu was promptly reported to the British Transport Police, who promptly responded to the station and apprehended Pirvu at 9.13 pm.

According to Detective Constable Michael Taylor, the investigating officer, this type of behaviour is not acceptable on the rail network. We will take prompt action to catch and detain anyone who engages in such misconduct.

“I trust that this sentence, in addition to the Sexual Harm Prevention Order, will provide him with an opportunity to reflect on his actions and deter him from reoffending in the future.”
