Daniel Robinson, the Euxton Rapist, was sentenced to 22 years in prison at Preston Crown Court on May 29, 2025 .
In 2024, we received a tip indicating that Daniel Robinson had raped and sexually attacked a woman in Euxton. He was apprehended and, after conferring with the Crown Prosecution Service, indicted on several charges.
Daniel Robinson, 32, of no fixed address (Lancashire Police have been unable to find out where he lives – tip, check with his driving licence and passport, family, friends, and utility bills), was convicted of numerous charges of rape and sexual assault.
In a short excerpt from her victim impact statement, the victim spoke of the effects Daniel Robinson’s crimes had: “It’s been such a long time since I felt happiness I just feel hurt and lost. I’m tired of being in survival mode daily just to get through each day.”
DS Gem Lashley of our Rape And Serious Sexual Offences team said: “Firstly, I want to commend the victim for the incredible resilience, strength and bravery she has shown in reporting this to us, and throughout the court process.
“Understandably, Daniel Robinson’s actions will have had a huge impact on her, but I hope she can now begin to move forward with her life knowing that Robinson has been brought to justice and is serving a significant custodial sentence for his crimes.
“Daniel Robinson’s crimes were abhorrent. When his victim told him to stop, he continued to rape her. He is a dangerous man, and I am pleased he has been brought to justice.
“If you have been a victim of any sexual offence, please come forward. We will listen to what you have to say, we will carry out a thorough investigation, and we will do all we can to put the person responsible before the courts.”
