Preston Paedophile David Fletcher used Twitter to view indecent images of children and was arrested by police at the Asda store where he worked.

Police recovered 185 category C images, one category B and two at the most serious category A from his home on Plungington Road, Preston.

David Fletcher, who has no previous convictions, was interviewed by officers and admitted he had viewed the images.

Further searches of his laptop and mobile phone revealed he had searched the internet to find them.

David Fletcher pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images and appeared at Preston Crown Court to be sentenced.

The judge handed David Fletcher a two year community order with 30 rehabilitation activity days and ordered him to undertake a sex offenders program.

He also made a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) which sets out the conditions surrounding David Fletcher’s future use of IT.
