After confessing to trying to improperly touch and contact an underage girl, an Isle of Wight pervert, David Peter Dean Shanklin Paedophile, will be jailed next month.
On Tuesday, July 23, David Peter Dean, 53, of Hungerberry Close, Shanklin, visited the Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court.
The 53-year-old, David Peter Dean, entered a guilty plea to two charges of attempting to engage in sexual communications with a child and trying to induce or persuade a female child under the age of 13 to participate in sexual behaviour.
Between April 25 and June 9, 2023, David Peter Dean purposefully tried to touch the vagina of a 13-year-old girl, according to Liz Miller, a prosecutor.
Other charges connected to him discussing penetrative sex and masturbation with a minor.
Ms Miller informed the court David Peter Dean committed these crimes to get sexual enjoyment.
Given the seriousness of the offence, magistrates decided the case was unfit for punishment in the court; Ms Miller had the case forwarded to the crown court.
Defending, Michael McGoldrick agreed with the prosecution and requested magistrates to consider pre-sentence report ordering.
Magistrates forward the matter to the Isle of Wight Crown Court; David Peter Dean will go before a judge for sentence on August 30.
David Peter Dean received unconditional bail.
