An alleged Stockton paedophile, Faisal Baruud, has been presented in court on charges related to sexual conduct with a minor.
Faisal Baruud appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning (January 17) following charges of two counts of sexual activity with a child earlier that week.
This follows the incident involving a 30-year-old resident of Durham Road in Stockton, who was apprehended by Cleveland Police on Yarm Lane after a car was allegedly observed “driving erratically” at approximately 2am on January 15.
Faisal Baruud was apprehended prior to being placed in police custody. Subsequent to interrogation and additional investigations by investigators, he was charged.
Faisal Baruud was detained in custody at court this morning and is scheduled to appear for a plea and trial preparation at Teesside Crown Court on February 17.
