George Brian Chipperfield, the South Lincolnshire Rapist, found guilty of many rapes has been sentenced to 12 years in prison and registered as a lifelong sex offender.

George Brian Chipperfield, from South Lincolnshire, received the sentence during his appearance at Grimsby Crown Court on Friday, May 9.

The 41-year-old, George Brian Chipperfield, received a 15-year sentence, comprising a 12-year jail term and a three-year extended license, for offences occurring from 2014 and in subsequent years.

The judge said that he would have enforced the maximum custodial sentence but mitigated the jail time due to the defendant, George Brian Chipperfield, already serving a four-year prison term for blackmail.

It was subsequently diminished to accommodate George Brian Chipperfield’s mental health challenges.

District of Columbia Kirsty Farrar stated that all individuals contributed to bringing Chipperfield to justice, and she believes the sentencing would provide his victim with a sense of closure.

“George Brian Chipperfield is a dangerous individual and his actions caused great harm and distress –they were reprehensible,” she said.

“I hope that this result can help give his victim a sense of closure though the road is likely to be long. Their courage is why we’re here today; they deserve a tremendous amount of respect.

“I’d also like to pay tribute to those who worked on the case, which demonstrates great partnership working.

“I’d like to highlight Independent Domestic Violence Advisor Sacha Darcey, Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Lawyer Sheetal Patel and KC Andrew Vout for their support.”
