Subsequent to an inquiry conducted by Thames Valley Police, John-Paul Walker has been incarcerated for sexual offences in Berkshire. John-Paul Walker, 44, of Dedworth Road, Windsor, has received a nine-year prison sentence, accompanied by an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
After an eight-day trial at Reading Crown Court, a unanimous jury convicted Walker of one crime of sexual assault by penetration and one count of attempted rape.
The incidents occurred in Berkshire in 2018, while the victim, a female, was a teenager.
Detective Constable Kelly Ware, the investigating officer, stated: “Thames Valley Police will consistently investigate sexual offences, regardless of when they occurred.”
“These offences occurred in 2018 and were reported to us in 2022. John-Paul Walker was arrested the same year and following an investigation was charged in 2023.
“I’m pleased that the jury believed the weight of evidence against John-Paul Walker and found him guilty of the offences, which he has now been jailed for nine years.
