Following citizens’ protests outside his house, a convicted Fochriw Paedophile, Jordan Howe, had to be led away by police. The local community answered that long asked question – how do you get rid of a paedophile?
From pictures taken at the scene, some fifty people gathered outside the Coronation Crescent, Fochriw residence and insisted Jordan Howe leave.
“We received a report of a disturbance in Coronation Crescent, Fochriw, around 12.40 pm on Sunday, July 21, after a group of around forty people gathered in the street,” a Gwent Police spokesman said.
” Officers went to thin out the crowd.
“No arrests have been made.”
An eyewitness claims the demonstration was orderly.
Community councillor Eddy Blanche of Fochriw on Darran Valley Community Council remarked: “It’s fantastic to see the community gathering to protect our youngsters. People like this should not be placed in little towns like ours.
Jordan Howe was the criminal identified locally.
On July 3, Jordan Howe, 26, was sentenced to 40 weeks, suspended for two years, according to Cardiff Crown Court, on admission of a single allegation of sexual communication with a child.
Jordan Howe was handed a five-year restraining order, therefore prohibiting him from contacting his victim, and his name was entered on the sex offenders’ register for ten years.
