Keith Chaplin, the Hastings Paedophile, has been indicted for historical sexual crimes. Two victims of Keith Chaplin, whose identities are protected for legal reasons, independently reported their encounters to Sussex Police and are unacquainted with one another.
The enquiries pertain to sexual offences involving a minor under 16 and a young adult in Hastings throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
A 76-year-old, Keith Chaplin, was arrested and, following an investigation by the Hastings Community Investigation team, has been charged with indecent assault on a boy under the age of 16 and three counts of sexual assault on a male.
Keith Chaplin, formerly an electrician of Kingsley Close, St Leonards, will appear before Hastings Magistrates’ Court on October 23 to answer the charges.
