The Reddish Paedophile, Laura Bardsley, who clandestinely groomed a susceptible youngster through love letters and subsequently engaged in sexual relations with him has been incarcerated.

Laura Bardsley initiated an online conversation with the boy before inviting him to her family residence and subsequently took him to a hotel for an overnight stay.

The police stated that she feigned being a beneficial influence on the youngster during the coronavirus limitations in 2020.

A 27-year-old, Laura Bardsley, from Reddish, Stockport, was sentenced to six years in prison at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court.

Laura Bardsley acknowledged four offences: engaging in sexual conduct with a minor, harassing a minor, and use a prohibited mobile phone while incarcerated.

Laura Bardsley commenced communication with the boy in June 2020, despite being aware of his several complicated vulnerabilities, according to police reports.

The correspondence subsequently turned sexual, and she commenced sending him notes, inviting him to the family residence she shared with her spouse and children.

The police stated that she concealed the grooming and sexual contact; nonetheless, her letters were subsequently discovered by the child’s mother, leading to Laura Bardsley’s arrest.

Detective Mike Allen of Greater Manchester Police stated, “Child sexual exploitation manifests in various forms.”

“I trust this outcome has justified their confidence in the authorities and offers them a semblance of justice in reconciling with these heinous crimes.”

Laura Bardsley was also issued a lifetime sexual harm prevention order and must sign the sex offenders register for life.
