Lewis Trueman unlawfully entered a woman’s residence and perpetrated sexual assault, thereafter laughing in the aftermath.

The 33-year-old nonce, Lewis Trueman, feigned searching for an individual when he knocked on his victim’s kitchen door in Wirral.

The assailant was fervently anticipating sexual engagement with his victim and obstinately disregarded her refusal.

A judge stated that Lewis Trueman, from Old Wood, Pensby, attempted to insert his tongue into her mouth and subsequently his hand into her pants.

Upon departing her residence, he threatened to fabricate a claim to her partner that they had engaged in sexual relations.

Lewis Trueman refuted any misconduct, and his victim was subjected to video cross-examination prior to the trial, ultimately leading to his admission of sexual assault.

He possessed 19 prior convictions for 49 offences, predominantly for vehicle theft, and was most recently convicted in 2012 for cannabis cultivation.

Lewis Trueman was incarcerated for two and a half years.
