Liam Roberts alleged Paedophile

The jury is deliberating its judgement in the case of a 31-year-old man, Liam Roberts, charged with many child sexual crimes. Liam Roberts, formerly of Leiston in East Suffolk, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday, residing at Vigerons Way, Greys.

The defendant, Liam Roberts, has refuted 11 charges of inducing a child under 13 to participate in sexual conduct, one charge of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual behaviour, and two charges of attempted rape.

The acts are purported to have occurred between 2007 and 2011, during which time Liam Roberts was a minor.

During the trial, the jurors listened to tapes of the interview Liam Roberts conducted with the police following his detention.

Liam Roberts asserted that several remarks he made to purported victims were interpreted “out of context.”

The court previously heard that the defendant confessed to masturbating in front of one of the alleged victims to “demonstrate how to do it.”

The jury adjourned to deliberate its verdict on Friday and will reconvene on Monday.
