Louise Smith, 42, the Cheshire Paedophile, was sentenced to 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to 12 counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a minor and inducing a child to perform a sexual act.
Gavin Sloan, a ‘dangerous’ sex offender previously residing at Briar Close in Minsterley near Shrewsbury, raped a child and possessed indecent photos of minors, including footage of himself attacking one of the victims, helped by Louise Smith. The 46-year-old was sentenced to 21 years in prison after confessing to over 30 charges, including child rape, possession of obscene photographs of minors, and sexual assaults on children.
He was apprehended in May 2021 after West Mercia Police searched his residence for evidence. They suspected he possessed the abhorrent images and Louise Smith had helped him. Indecent photographs of minors, captured between 2013 and 2021, were uncovered.
Two female co-conspirators, including Louise Smith, were also convicted at Shrewsbury Crown Court on May 12.
